2025-03-26 - Following an inspection after the earthquake in New Jersey in April 2024, structural damage was found in the church which had already ceased Sunday Masses. As of March 26, 2025, the diocese plans to have the church demolished. However, according to a comment on a Facebook post discussing the proposed demolition, a commenter claims to have spoken to the diocese, who said there is a potential buyer -Nate Pultorak
