2012-04-15 - Updated through online information from AB. -- Small correction in that the organ is associated with the Manning Memorial Chapel and not the School of Music, although music students studying organ usually have the privilege of using the instrument. There are also some small corrections to the stoplist. On this organ, Manual I is referred to as the Hauptwerke, not the "Great." You may want to note the Mixtur IV is 1'. Manual II is referred to as the Oberwerke, not the "Swell." You may want to note the Zimbel as II 1/4'. On the pedal, it is spelled Prinzipal on the stop (not Principal). Also, it is a Mixtur IV 1 1/3'. -Database Manager

2012-04-15 - Updated through online information from AB. -- My apologies: although my teacher, the late Clarence Ledbetter, University Organist, referred to the "swell" (which isn't a swell anyway since it is not enclosed...) as the "Oberwerk," it is a Brustwerk. -Database Manager

2012-05-11 - Updated through online information from Gordon J Callon. -Database Manager

2016-09-03 - Updated through online information from John M. Scott. <br>In July 2013 a 10-bell Zimbelstern was added to the organ. This was a gift of the Class of 1963. The Zimbelstern is hidden from view, suspended from the top of the center tower, and is activated by a button on the left stop jamb. Also, while your records indicate the instrument is in an unaltered state, the original specification included a Holzregal. This was replaced with the Krumhorn in the 1980's. I am currently University Organist and was when the Zimbelstern was installed. -Database Manager
