2024-11-22 - This writer serviced this organ several times in the mid 1970s and again in the early 2000s. Its second home is Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7041 Solars Point Rd., Dundalk MD. It was installed in the late 1950s building, in two elevated chambers at the front of the church. The right chamber holds the console and the larger left chamber the two pipe chambers. In the 1970s the instrument was intact, though the roll player mechanism was gone. In the 2000s a new solid state relay was installed to deal with the stops and key mechanisms. The Lutheran congregation has since sold the building to another congregation and the organ, sits silent as there is problem with the blower. Though there has been some water migration, into the chamber, the instrument is intact and well worth restoring. -Steve Bartley
