2009-10-09 - Updated through on-line information from Will Dunklin. -- This church may be identified by several names: Central Methodist, Central United Methodist, Central Methodist Episcopal Church South. It is the combination of two congregations, Broadway ME Church South and Centennial ME Church South. -Database Manager
2011-08-06 - Updated through online information from Will Dunklin. -- This organ was ordered and built for this church, but never installed at Central Methodist, Knoxville. The church was unable to pay for the instrument. It remained in storage at the Skinner factory until 1941 when it was sold to Temple Mishkan Israel. During the 1930's, Central Methodist obtained the II/6 Wurlitzer from the Knoxville Riviera Theatre. The Wurlitzer remained until the installation of Moller Opus 9098 in 1958.
