2006-05-27 - Updated through online information from John Longhurst. -- The number of divisions is subject to interpretation. The Great might be considered as either one or two divisions, depending on how one views the unenclosed and enclosed portions. -Database Manager

2009-10-20 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -Database Manager

2017-08-03 - Updated by Landon Durrant, who has heard or played the organ.

This organ is in amazing condition and is used irregularly. The room it sits in accompanies the organ perfectly. I have played it a few times and I enjoyed every second of it. -Database Manager

2018-07-03 - The Joseph Smith Memorial Building was completed in 1911 as the Hotel Utah, one of the finest hotels west of the Mississippi; it was a 50/50 partnership between the Mormon Church and non-Mormon investors; over the years as further financial investment was needed for periodic renovation, the church's percentage grew considerably; they closed the hotel in 1987 and, after considerable renovation and remodeling, re-opened the building in 1993 as the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. -Database Manager
