Notes

2006-06-11 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built for the Liberty (American) Theatre in Walla Walla, Washington. It was removed in the 1930s, and was eventually installed at Elerdings Mortuary. The PSTOS website says in 1935, and Balcom and Vaughan references indicate 1938. In 1962, the organ was removed and sold for parts. The console went to Dan Adamson of Seattle, and other parts went to Robert Jones in Edmonds, Washington. The console was later sold by Dan Adamson to Bremerton Pipe Organ Society and was installed in the Bremerton Community Theatre in the 1970s. The Robert Jones portion which had been combined with a 3-manual Robert Morton was later sold to Roger Henderson of Gig Harbor, Washington. who stored the instrument for a number of years. It was eventually sold again and broken up for parts. -Database Manager
