2023-06-07 - From the *2006 OHS Organ Atlas*: Regarding the 1857 organ, the Saratoga paper remarked: "The Presbyterian people of this village, not content with erecting one of the most splendid church edifices in central New York, have determined to procure an organ that will be worthy of it. They have contracted with Messrs. Andrews, organ builders, of Utica, for a $3,000 instrument, which will be put up during the coming month, by which time the church is expected to be in readiness for dedication. The organ now in use in Dr. Dickson's Church, Utica [Westminster Presbyterian, 3m Andrews, 1855] was made by the Messrs. Andrews, and has the reputation of being one of the best instruments in the state ..." -Paul R. Marchesano
