2006-06-18 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was an electrification of the church's existing ca. 1905 W.W. Kimball Co. instrument. The console was new. The original chest primaries were electrified. No tonal changes were made. The original 30-pipe Pedal 16' Bourdon was extended by 14 pipes to allow it to play for 32 notes and to allow it to play at both 16' and 8' pitches. The congregation later disbanded and the church became Progressive Missionary Baptist. It is presumed that the organ was removed around this time. Its subsequent disposition is unknown. -Database Manager
