2007-08-25 - Updated through online information from Douglas W. Craw. -- This instrument was originally built by Schlicker and installed in First-Plymouth Congregational Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. It was moved to St. James in 1997 and was installed and rebuilt by Mann & Trupiano organ builders of Brooklyn, New York -- who also built a new console. Most of the chests and pipework are by Heissler Orgeln of Germany with the Goettler Trumpet by M. P. Möller, Inc. Tonal finishing of the reeds by Gilbert Adams of Monroe, North Carolina. The inaugural recital was played by Helen VanAbbema on January 16, 1998. -Database Manager
