2009-09-20 - Updated through online information from David P. Rankin. -- This Wicks organ has played an important role in the life of the church. Wicks chimes were added in the late 1970s by the Shaffer family. An 8' Erzahler Celeste was added in the early 1980s and an independent 4' Octave and an independent 4' Open Wood were added to the exposed Great in 1987 as a memorial to W.L. Shaffer. All new pipework and chests were built by Wicks. -Database Manager
