2007-04-24 - Updated through online information from Orion Pitts. -- Built 1889 Massachusetts by Woodberry & Harris; relocated in 1978 by Manuel Rosales to Avalon Community (Congregational) Church, Avalon, California. Relocated in 1995 by Marc Austin to First United Lutheran Church in San Francisco. -Database Manager

2007-11-04 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- 3-sectional facade containing 21 ornately stenciled pipes arranged: 5-11-5. Organ dedicated in worship on Sunday, October 16, 1995; and that even in recital with guest organist Charles Rus. First United Lutheran has since been forced to leave their Geary Blvd. location due to a conflict with the Synod regarding an ordination. They now worship at the First Unitarian Universalist chapel at 1187 Franklin St., and the organ was moved and reinstalled there. -Database Manager

2007-11-06 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The zimbelstern from the congregation's previous 1958 Verlinden organ was saved and added to the Woodberry & Harris. -Database Manager

2008-12-05 - Updated through information received via e-mail from Orion Pitts: -- The congregation sold this building and now worships in a Unitarian Chapel. The organ went into storage in November 2007. We still own it, and have made it available on loan to Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, 2770 Marin Ave., Berkeley, CA 94708. The installation there is complete (as of November 2008) and it is in the Chapel of the Cross, on permanent loan. -Database Manager
