2006-10-18 - Identified through on-line information from Tommy Gray. -- Console has been moved from original choir loft location and new wiring installed. Norwood and Sons Pipe Organ Company from Pensacola, Florida installed the instrument in 1950. First service in which it was played was Christmas Morning of 1950. I believe the pipe work is from other instruments and have never been able to locate any markings on the pipes to determine their builder. This is a highly unified instrument. Ranks include 8' Open Diapason, 8' Stopped Diapason, 8' Salicional, 8' Voix Celeste, 8' Dulcianna, 8' Oboe, all 4' & 2' are extensions of their respective ranks, and there is only the 16' Bourdon in the Pedal, an extension of the Sopped Diapason. Tremolo affects the entire instrument, which is completely under expression. -Database Manager
