OHS convention: 2008
2006-10-25 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- As with the former Casavant...the Rosales organ has a "Master Console" which controls both its own resources, and those of the 1907 Hutchings-Votey in the rear gallery. The Rosales organ contains five ranks from the former Casavant instrument. -Database Manager
2012-09-26 - Updated through online information from Joseph Adam. -Database Manager
2017-08-20 - Updated by Sean Haley, naming this as the source of information: Dedication program. Sean Haley also listed this individual as a source of information: Manuel Rosales.<br> As with many notable collaboratively built instruments by the Rosales firm, this organ was a joint venture with P&S of Brandon, England. The retained ranks from the 1926 Casavant are the Grande-Orgue 8' Flute Douce, and 8' Flute Celeste; and the Recit 16' Bourdon, 8' Viole de Gambe, and 8' Voix Celeste. The substantial 32'-16' Gallery Bombarde (with one note to 64': B), added as the last piece of the Rosales project, is installed in the South side of the Hutchings-Votey instrument and is voiced on a generous 12" of wind. It is quite a commanding pedal voice when compared to the original Hutchings 16' Trombone. -Database Manager
