NOTES
This organ was originally built for the previous edifice which stood on this same site. The
organ was installed in a single chamber at the center of the chancel. The Choir sat in front
of the chamber, and the console was at the front, left side with the organist facing across
the chancel and the congregation on his right. When the new church was built, Balcom and
Vaughan removed the organ, stored it, and re-installed it in the new facility.

In the new (present) church the chamber is on the right side of the church towards the front.
Two sets of shutters direct the volume into the sanctuary and the side choir gallery. The
shutters into the choir gallery are used shutters from an organ built by M.P. Möller as their
opus 7382. The shutters that open into the sanctuary also appear to be used, but their origins
are unknown.

The 8' Dulciana borrows its bottom 12 notes from the Salicional. The 2-2/3' Twelfth is from
the Open Diapason unit and borrows its top seven notes from the Gedeckt unit. Similarly, the
2' Fifteenth borrows its top octave from the Gedeckt unit. The Chimes are Maas-Rowe amplified
chimes which play for 25 notes from tenor F through f 42. The Voix Celeste is a used, Möller
Gamba originally built for Trinity Episcopal Church in Portland, OR., and purchased used by
Meadway & Stettner from Bond Pipe Organs in Portland, OR. The Fagot is new. Both the Fagot
and the 8' Voix Celeste were added on a new 2-rank chest designed for the additions by Wicks.
The Tremolo affects the entire instrument.

The organ was under the care of Wicks Rep Philip A. Larson of Spokane, WA. dba Washington
Church Organs, but the installation and wiring were sub-contracted to Meadway & Stettner.
