NOTES
This organ was originally built for and installed in the church's 1904 building on the corner of
Avenue A and Second Street. The organ was moved in 1965 to the new [present] edifice by Glen D. White.
In 1966, Balcom and Vaughan had to do restorative repairs on the organ due to damage incurred at the
time of its relocation and reinstallation in the present building. In later years, the organ sustained
water damage from a roof leak which required much releathering of the chest pneumatics. The chests and
console were made by Balcom and Vaughan. The keys were supplied by Klann, and the pipework was ordered
from Organ Supply Industries.

In 1998, the organ was replaced with a new electronic. The chests and pipes were purchased by
Douglas McNeel of Seattle for a residence organ. The console was given to Jim Stettner of Stettner Pipe
Organs who in turn gave it to one of his customers - Arlington United Church in Arlington, WA - to
replace their failing 1928 Wicks console.
