2011-03-02 - Updated through online information from Joe O'Donnell. -- The console has three manuals; the Positiv was always intended to have its own manual. At an unknown date (perhaps at the same time the prepared-for Trompette and Erzähler were added to the Great) the Positiv keys were wired to play the Swell at 16' pitch, converting the Positiv-to-Great coupler to a Swell-to-Great 16'. -Database Manager

2021-01-26 - The factory specification dated July 4, 1963, is for a two-manual console and has the Positiv as prepared-for and playable on the Great; a Memo of Agreement was signed March 19, 1964, changing the number of manuals to three, giving the Positiv its own manual. A hooded Trompette was contracted for on November 11, 1965, for $2,540.00. On November 19, 1965, a unit chest of 61 notes (for an 8' Gemshorn), along with bellows and wind-duct, was contracted for delivery by March 1, 1966. Perhaps this took the place of the prepared-for Erzähler on the Great. -Jeff Scofield

2022-08-25 - The organ has now had a thorough electrical rebuild including a new combination action and switching system. The Great Trompette is now also available at 8' and 4' on the Positiv manual and the number of general pistons has been increased from three to eight. The console preparations for the Positiv division have been retained and the formerly hard-wired sub couplers have been made official. -Joe O'Donnell
