2007-02-09 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This is a new instrument retaining portions of the church's previous 1917 Austin, Op. 759. The original 108-pipe façade was stripped to the bare metal, meticulously repainted with special detailing even hand-painted, and then Dutch-leafed. Selected registers from the Austin were retained in the new instrument. The organ was dedicated Sunday, May 13, 1990 at 3:30 p.m. with Robert Read as guest recitalist. -Database Manager
