Notes

2007-02-15 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The congregation was organized in 1842. Within a year of that, they had purchased a melodeon. Ca. 1853 they acquired a used pipe organ for $211. Neither the original builder nor the installer are known. The organ was hand-pumped and remained for 37 years before being replaced by a Hook & Hastings in 1890. -Database Manager
