2007-02-16 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was a rebuild, electrification, and modernization of the 2/8 existing Hann, Wangerin, Weickhardt organ originally installed in the previous edifice on Chestnut St. and transplanted here in 1920. Two ranks were added to the Swell: 8' Oboe and 8' Vox Humana. A 20-note set of Deagan chimes was added, and the Pedal 16' Bourdon was made to play as a 16' Lieblich Gedeckt via reduced pressure. Full inter- and intra-manual couplers were included. The console - now detached - was placed at the east end of the balcony. Cost of the project was $6,500.00 - which was accomplished as a part of the 100th Anniversary celebration of the church. -Database Manager
