2007-02-17 - Identified through on-line information from Douglas Adams. -- In 1997, as part of building renovations pursuant to amalgamation with Metropolitan United church to form First-Metropolitan United Church, this organ was abandoned in favour of a digital instrument of 18 channels, 38 speaker cabinets. A few ranks were sold, some pipes were painted and used to screen antiphonal speakers, the console was sold and became a roll-top desk. -Database Manager

2019-07-31 - From the specifications: "It is understood that the case of the old St. Andrew's Church organ in Vancouver will be used; the First United Church to bear the expense of securing the case, dismantling it and transporting to the Church, and to do whatever cutting and refinishing of the ends that may be found necessary to fit it into its new position. Casavant will erect the case aside from the cutting and re-finishing. The display pipes also of the old St. Andrew's organ case to be used and the pipes to be rearranged and erected for the additional sum of $290.00." -Database Manager
