2007-04-23 - Identified through online information from John S. Mitchell. -- Organ is 3 manuals and pedal, presently 36 ranks. Robert Noehren opus 2 was originally installed at the New England Conservatory of music in 1957. In 1978, it was moved by John Wessel with no changes to another recital hall at the Conservatory and was rededicated in a recital by Noehren on 11-03-1978. In 1980 it became surplus due to demolition of the building. Organ was probably found through Organ Clearing House, installed in 1981 [by Muench] and again rededicated by Noehren on 11-29-1981. The present used 4-manual Möller console from First Congregational, Long Beach was installed in 1990. In 1992, the organ was revised by Richard Muench with an added Swell Vox Humana. -Database Manager
