2007-04-24 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -Database Manager

2015-09-13 - Updated through online information from John Green. -- From my personal knowledge of this organ: When Central Methodist moved from its downtown location to N. Central Ave. in the mid 1950s, this organ was dismantled and stored in the organ chambers of the new building. A Baldwin Model 10 electronic was "temporarily" installed with the hope that the Estey could be incorporated into a new pipe organ. The incorporation never took place, and the pipe organ was sent to the city landfill in the mid 1960s.

I recall driving past the church when I was a student at ASU, and being mortified seeing pipes and various organ parts in garbage cans out at the street curb. The church used the electronic until a Reuter was installed in 1969. -Database Manager
