Notes

2007-04-28 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was a project of cleaning and refurbishing. The organ had gradually fallen into disrepair. All pipework was removed and cleaned with volunteer help from parishioners. The chambers were cleaned. All stoppers were releathered. Pitmans and pitman retainers were replaced. Gasketing was replaced to silence wind leaks. Some tonal regulation was performed. No tonal changes were made. This took place in March, 1994. The refurbished organ was heard in its greatly improved condition on Sunday, March 20, 1994. In 1995, the Swell 8' Vox Humana (rarely used) was replaced with a new 2' Piccolo (non-harmonic) made by Eastern Organ Pipes, and placed on the Vox Humana chest. -Database Manager
