2007-04-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the installation of a used, Wurlitzer, pit-organ with an 88-note piano. The pipe ranks played for 65 notes. The 5 manual ranks were: 8' Cello, 8' Flute, 8' Viol, 8' Quintadena, and 8' Vox Humana. The 12-note bass was reportedly an independent set of stopped pipes. The organ also had chimes, and of course - piano. It was replaced in 1948 by a new Estey installed by Balcom and Vaughan. The subsequent disposition of the Wurlitzer is not known. -Database Manager
