2007-04-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ replaced a two-man. tracker - probably Bergstrom - that was only 6 years old. The organ was installed in chamber where the tracker had been recessed. But this space was enlarged in 1902 in preparation to receive the new, larger Kimball. The chambers were covered with two pipe fence facades containing sixteen gold-painted pipes each. The console was detached and reversed. The Kimball was moved to the new edifice in the early 1930s - which later became the cathedral. -Database Manager
