2007-05-10 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the installation of a used Balcom and Vaughan console (Opus 464, 1948) to replace the failing original 1928 Wicks console. The B and V console was donated to the church as was the labor for its installation, which was done on February 6 & 7, 1998. The new console provided for two additional stops that had not been present on the Wicks console. There was no combination action, though the Wicks c/a had become wholly unreliable. A church member kept the Wicks console. The church later received a three-manual electronic as a gift. The Wicks was given to Stettner Pipe Organs and was parted-out. -Database Manager
2014-02-12 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Most of the pipe work was kept by the church and ultimately given to someone in Alaska who had some kind of ties with the Church. The 12-pipe 16' Bourdon extension and its two 6-note windchests were given to Puget Sound Pipe Organs in 2013. The chests were restored and are now in the organ at the Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater in Vancouver, Washington. The original facade with notes 1-10 of the 8' Open Diapason remains at the church, and the speaking pipes are not in-use. The disposition of the Balcom and Vaughan console is not known. -Database Manager
