2007-05-15 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the re-installation without tonal changes of a 1909 Estey, Opus 720 - which had been originally built for First Presbyterian in Wenatchee, Washington as a tubular-pneumatic 2/8. It was electrified there by Balcom and Vaughan in 1940 and enlarged to 2/10 with a "new" Everett Orgatron console. A Melodia was added to the Great, and a Voix Celeste to the Swell. Chimes were also added. The organ was placed in a ceiling chamber in Seattle with an open wall space between the chamber front and the front wall of the church. Because of this, much of the tone and volume are lost. -Database Manager
