2007-05-28 - Identified through on-line information from Stanley R. Scheer. -- The contract for Op. 2550 involved rebuilding Op. 865 (1920) with electric action playable from a new two-manual detached console. The original ventil windchests were retained and electrified by converting the tubular-pneumatic key primaries and stop action to electro-pneumatic. The pedal compass was increased from 30 to 32 notes, including the addition of two pipes for the Pedal Bourdon 16'. The organ was releathered and a new eight-stage expression motor was added to control the Swell expression. -Database Manager
