Notes

2007-06-01 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through on-line information from Louis Playford. -- Church history states that this instrument was exhibited at the Atlanta Exhibition of 1895. The original nameplate is gone but oral statements that the instrument was built by John Brown of Wilmington, Delaware are corroborated by the presence of his name inside the case and design details identical to those in the John Brown organ formerly at St. John Lutheran in Atlanta. Not on the incomplete John Brown opus list. -Database Manager
