Notes

2007-06-09 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This building was originally the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary Convent. It was converted to a residential retirement community about 2001. The Kilgen organ is original, but appears to have been moved. It is presently chambered, but the first 17 pipes of the Great 8' Open Diapason are over-length and painted gold, and were clearly once part of a visible facade. The pedalboard is concave and radiating, but non-AGO standard. In addition, the length of the sharps is longer at the outsides and shorten towards the middle. The original keyboard cover was a folding cover with an attached music rack. The original music rack has since been replaced with an illuminated glass/metal music rack attached to the stoprail board. -Database Manager
