2021-02-21 - St. Stephen's, Brideburg, was established by the vestry of St. Mark's, Frankford. Organized and established 1869. On December 21, 1962, agreement of sales reached with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to sell the church for $131,000 to make way for the new Delaware Expressway (now Interstate 95). Parish closed, site deconsecrated by Bishop Hart, December 30, 1962. -Paul R. Marchesano
