2017-02-06 - Updated by William M. Worden, naming this as the source of information: Newspapers, etc. Also first-hand knowledge of St. John C.M.E.<br> Confusion here. The church that is now occupied by St. John C.M.E. was North Woodward Congregational. North Woodward Methodist is the previous name and building of Metropolitan Methodist. North Woodward Methodist burned on Christmas Eve, 1916. I presume this is the organ of that church and that the organ burned with the church. I'll be uploading a photo of the organ from the Detroit Public Library. -Database Manager
