2011-09-25 - The organ's original cost was $2,200. It was moved to the church's current sanctuary in 1916 and underwent a number of revisions over the years: converted to electro-pneumatic action, new facade pipes, additional ranks, and a new "theater-style" console (1926); more new ranks (1950); replacement of the windchests (late 1960's); new console (early 1970's); and still more new ranks (1980). The instrument was extensively rebuilt as a new instrument from 1989-1997 by Richard Swanson. -Database Manager
