2015-04-15 - Updated through online information from steven bartley. -- The organ was built for the new building on the site of the old, which was only one of two churches destroyed in the massive 1904 fire. The congregation moved to a new location in the early 1920s and took the organ with them. (Sun Paper Apr 13, 1920) It was to be a bit of a curse. Some decades later one of the facade pipes came loose and killed a choir member. The Estey was replaced in the 1950s with a Casavant, which was ordered with NO exposed pipes. -Database Manager
