Notes

2007-07-08 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- New organ in brand new chapel building. Single large chamber above/behind front gallery where choir sits. Large triangular facade of pipes from Great 8' Principal, Positif 8' Principal, and Pedal 8' Principal. Facade pipes painted same color as walls to make them less obvious (per architect). Facade installed in October 1993 for dedication of new building. Organ installation begun after New Year, 1994 and completed by end of April. Slider chests per design of C.B. Fisk from 1950s. All manual divisions primarily on slider chests. Pedal on Kilgen-style E-P unit chests. Some recycled pipework (Möller, Austin, Aeolian, Unknown) contributed to project by Paul Sahlin of California. Some recycled pipework (Kimball, Bennett, OSI) from B and V inventory. Used chimes on new Peterson action. Organ prepared for additional registers/stops. Source: extant organ which I helped to build and install as a B and V employee. -Database Manager
