2007-07-11 - Identified through on-line information from Bob Moody. -- I am playing a short recital and an evening vespers on this instrument tomorrow, 7/11/07. Wind gauge and bellows signal both work. Electric blower added when electricity came to the area. Regular services suspended in 1947, when congregations merged. Building now used for weddings, special services, and annual "Serenity at Trinity" vespers every other week in June-August. Notable is presence of a swell to great 4' coupler that works by backfall, in addition to the usual swell to great 8, swell to pedal 8, and great to pedal 8. Swell to great couplers transmit through the great to pedal coupler. Church can seat 200. Organ has a bold sound. I am playing pieces by Dudley Buck (3rd pedal study), Caleb Simper (postlude from vol 4 of 17 voluntaries), Isaac Barton ("On the Lake of Galilee") and Flor Peeters (Elegy from 60 short pieces.) Also accompanying a hymn sing. The only thing in the church that is powered by electricity is the organ. Lighting is by "camp lanterns" suspended by ropes and pullies. -Database Manager
2007-07-12 - Updated through on-line information from Bob Moody. -- The pedalboard is flat and straight, but the length of the sharps radiates, with longer sharps at the extreme ends of the pedalboard. -Database Manager
2011-06-10 - Updated through on-line information from Bob Moody. -- The manuals are backfall tracker. The pedal is Tubular Pneumatic. The Swell to Great 4 will transmit to the pedal through the Great to Pedal. -Database Manager
