2007-07-23 - Identified through on-line information from Brad R. Richards. -- Rebuild and relocation of original eight-rank organ. This organ was purchased on E-Bay for $6,000.00; I had it shipped to our shop in Victoria, TX; the shipping cost was more than the organ, but it was packed extremely well by another firm in the northeast that I would not hesitate to use again. Our firm revoiced the principal chorus and the string ranks so that they would work well in the very dead room. This room has carpet everywhere, sheetrock walls that don't reinforce bass at all, padded pews, and acoustical tile ceiling..... about as dead as you can possibly get. The organ is a huge success there, having been installed just over a year ago. It was listed in the AIO photographic survey, and visually fits the room very well. In the process of this project we added two ranks to the 8 rank instrument which were both revoiced to sit well with the existing ranks. -Database Manager
