2007-07-26 - Identified through online information from Douglas W. Craw. -- The congregation of Central Woodward Christian Church moved from their Detroit location to a new church building in Troy, Michigan in 1980 taking the Casavant organ with them. The organ was moved by Burger & Shafer Organ Co. of Findlay, Ohio and reduced in size to fit the new building, still using the original 4 manual console. As installed at the new church in Troy, the organ now has 47 stops and 2,697 pipes. The Echo division was not taken to Troy and all other divisions were reduced in size. -Database Manager
