2007-08-01 - Identified through online information from Douglas W. Craw. -- According to the folder that accompanied the dedication of the new console, this was originally an Austin organ (opus 1019) installed in 1922 in the former sanctuary. Frank Steere installed and voiced the organ. In 1962 the organ was moved to the new sanctuary at 23rd & Oak. In 1972 George Price rebuilt the organ, adding mixtures, mutations and other upperwork. The Muller Organ Co. installed the new Schantz console in 1983 along with some minor revoicing of pipework. -Database Manager
2017-12-26 - •Updated with information from Josh McDonald. -- The organ was not playable in the last few years due to an electrical issue with the blower that was too financially challenging for the congregation to fix; the last service was held September 24, 2017; the congregation merged into another one and the facility is for sale. -Database Manager
