2018-04-06 - According to William Worden, "Three of the four stops listed as 'added' were, I believe, replacements for other stops in the choir, which was moved to the floor of the church just inside the north transept in a box case with grilles. The 16' Gedackt was, I'm sure, to give the separated choir a pedal stop at that pitch. An organ technician remembers seeing unused string pipes laying in the bottom of the new choir case, no doubt having been replaced to give the choir a more complete chorus since it pretty well had to stand on its own." The organ has been removed, more than likely to the dumpster. -Database Manager
