Notes

2007-08-23 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager

2010-08-12 - Updated through on-line information from Randall Newman. -- Craigslist ad says its been maintained by Andover Organ Co. From pictures it looks like console was updated. No combination action. Being removed from building to make way for cell phone tower equipment. Replaced by an electronic. From the Craigslist ad: "First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Medfield, Mass. (20 miles southwest of Boston) is seeking a good home for its ~1930 Estey pipe organ, which is in working condition and will be given away free to anyone willing and able to remove it. This Estey pipe organ has been serviced every few years by the Andover Organ Company, most recently in November 2007. It is not a great organ, but is does work, and we need to get it out soon. The church needs the space now occupied by the organ to house telecommunications equipment associated with the cell towers to go in the steeple, and it will provide rental income that is important for the church's growth. A generous parishioner has donated an electronic organ as a replacement, and it has been installed in the church." -Database Manager

2017-01-12 - Updated by Bob McGlinchey, who maintains the organ. <br>This is very little info but I believe Joe Deptula restored this organ in 1980 and I recorded his premiering it. -Database Manager
