2007-08-25 - Identified through online information from Philip T. D. Cooper. -- The organ was originally built for the Mortuary Chapel in Eureka, California. It was relocated to St. Luke's Church in Auburn in 1974 at which time it lost its original casework. In 1996, it was substantially enlarged and reworked by volunteers of the church under the direction of the organist, Phil Cooper. The organ now contains 12 ranks with 828 pipes. The console was built by Austin Organ Co. in 1956 and was donated to St. Luke's by St. John's Episcopal Church in Lodi, CA -Database Manager
