Notes

2007-09-03 - Identified through on-line information from Larry Wheelock. -- Mechanical rebuild of original 1928/1948 Austin with minor stoplist changes by John-Paul Buzard in 2002 including replacing the original Austin 3-manual stopkey console (which stood to the right of the platform) with a rebuilt 4m Drawknob console, front and center) originally built by Reuter for 1st Baptist Church in Wooster MA. The 1948 Echo, which speaks from the tower in the rear, was reconfigured into a Solo division with new EP chests by Buzzard using original, relocated, and new pipework. Solo expression is controlled by either the SW or CH shoe with a switch to choose between them. This switch is not on the combination action (oops). The three 32-foot stops are digital 12-note extensions (Peterson) replacing a "Resultant" and a "Reed Harmonics" believed to date from 60's alterations. Current console has 99 combo levels and 4 crescendo settings. Key-covers are ivory. The church welcomes visitors to the organ. -Database Manager
