2007-09-04 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager

2012-07-19 - Updated through online information from Dr. Ronald Bissell. -- Long standing church member for over 35 years. I know this organ having served on our Diaconate for many years. Unfortunately, the organ was destroyed in a fire that took down the entire church on August 31, 2000. The organ was in exceptional condition and played with only occasional issues with cold air causing the intake to freeze. That is all I remember about the particulars of the organ. I do remember hearing the organ and seeing its exposed pipes. It was quite a loss to the congregation. -Database Manager

2020-08-10 - In celebration of the upcoming 150th anniversary of the church, in 1910 Colonel Richard Cutts Shannon made the gift of a beautiful Estey organ in memory of his brother, Charles, who was organist and choir director for 50 years. At the time, it was claimed to be the largest pipe organ north of Boston. -Nicholas Scott
