2007-09-07 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager
2008-02-21 - Updated through online information from Sanford Berry. -- The organ was rebuilt and electrified in circa 1952 by an organ tech from Wichita. Name escapes me. Some minor changes in the stoplist, Great Gross Flute moved to pedal as an 8', replaced by a Hohl Flute, Gemshorn became 4' on the Great. New console. Organ was sold at auction when the church closed in approx. 1968 Building was demolished. -Database Manager
2024-08-06 - This building and organ are no longer extant. The congregation split when the new educational building was built north of the city circa 1965; by the time the sanctuary and new Reuter were completed in 1973, the downtown church and building had been abandoned and then raised to make room for expansion of Cowley County Community College.
