Notes

2007-09-07 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager

2020-05-19 - This organ was located in the rear gallery, and was present at least until 1995 or perhaps slightly later before it was removed and replaced with a Rodgers, placed on the floor in the front. The Estey was fully playable, and I played it twice. -Andrew Scanlon

2020-05-19 - This organ was located in the rear gallery. It was against the rear wall in one piece, with gold facade pipes. The console was fixed in the center. It had a single row of larger-than-normal, white stop tabs. Recent pictures of the church interior show a divided pipe display on either side of a window. Best guess is that the facade only was retained when the Rodgers organ was purchased and then broken into two for decorative purposes only. -Andrew Scanlon

2022-07-20 - Clarifying church name. Oddly, this church is called Sacred Hearts (with an S on the end) -Andrew Scanlon

2022-07-27 - The console and stop tabs are almost identical to the Estey, Op 1279 of the same year (1914) located at the Unitarian Church on West North Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA. The organ ID is 28287. Visit that instrument for pictures. -Andrew Scanlon
