2007-09-18 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- According to parish website, the new organ was used for the first time on July 21st, 1968. The organ fund drive was completed September 8, 1968, with $25,010 collected. The new organ was dedicated in September. In 1986, the organ was repaired for $2,300.00 - the 2nd time pipes were missing. 1996, the July Voter's Assembly approved $26,000.00 to upgrade the organ. 1997, the organ was releathered over a 6-week period. 1998, and additional $27,000.00 was gathered for the Organ Update Fund. No further information about the organ is given in the "History" section of the website, save for a 2003 contribution of $1,000.00 to the Organ Update Fund. The organ is located in the rear gallery in a case with the expressive Swell on the left side and exposed pipes on the right side. -Database Manager
