2007-09-20 - This entry represents the removal, moving, and reinstallation of the parish's existing 6-year-old Estey from the 19th century edifice to the newly built church in 1922. The organ was likeIy originally tubular-pneumatic, and may have been electrfied at the time of the move. -Database Manager
2023-08-17 - The current Romanesque building on Ashley St. was built by Matthew Sullivan in 1922. There was a previous wooden structure (now demolished) nearby, on the corner of Breed and Ashley. The 1916 Estey must have been built for the previous structure. There is anecdotal evidence that it was moved to the new building, which was known to have an Estey. It was removed ca. 1987 and replaced with another pipe organ (builder unknown). Or possibly the newer instrument was a rebuilding of the Estey. I have played the instrument many times but never examined it inside. -Leonardo Ciampa
