2025-06-12 - From Cinema Treasures: The Garden Theatre was opened November 6, 1916 with Mary Pickford in “Less Than the Dust”. It was operated by Max Gold and had 1,347 seats. It was equipped with an Estey 2 manual organ. It was later sold to Jacob Fabian. By 1941 the Garden Theatre was operated by Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp. Still operating per the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook. By 1957 it was operated by Liggett-Florin Booking Service. -Paul R. Marchesano
