2007-09-22 - Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Chancel organ is 1971 Casavant, Antiphonal division pipework is retained from previous organs,including a 4 foot flute from the original 1896 Geo. Hutchings organ. The Hutchings organ was ordered by George Vanderbuilt for his Biltmore estate, but he gave it to the church instead of installing it at his home. The Hutchings organ was installed by the then Hutchings employee, Ernest M. Skinner. The organ is in regular use for services (2007). -Database Manager
